She’s teaming up with the Malala Fund to make a difference.
Sabrina Carpenter turns 19 on May 11th and instead of asking for gifts for her big day, Sabrina is teaming up with the Malala Fund to give back.
While currently on the set of her new movie in New Mexico, she took a quick break to write a few words about why she chose the Malala Fund for her birthday. Here’s what she wrote:
“for my 19th birthday coming up, I’ve made a special page where you can donate to the @malalafund
I wouldn’t be able to do so many things without my education, and every girl should get that opportunity.
130 million girls are out of school. Malala Fund works to support programs that get girls in school, raise awareness for girls’ education around the world and amplify the voices of girls fighting for change. u can learn more and donate from the link in my bio ? thank u”

She also took a minute to make a personal video about the organization and why she’s so inspired by their work.
