We can’t believe they’re hanging up their supersuits forever.
“The Thundermans” has blessed us with more amazing memories that we could ever ask for. But today is a very emotional moment for the show’s cast and crew AND their fans, and that’s because the very last episode of the beloved Nickelodeon series is being filmed as we speak. After five years and over a hundred fun-filled and adventurous episodes, plus tons of crossover eps and TV movie specials, it would be greedy of us to say the show is leaving us too soon. But still, we wish the series could go on forever.
The show’s actors are right there with us: stars like Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin, and Addison Riecke have already all taken to social media to pay tribute to their final day of filming, and reflect on how far they’ve come together. They’re making us both weepy-eyed AND super excited for what’s ahead for the show.
“Here I am, wearing my supersuit for the very last time, full of love and gratitude,” Kira posted with her photo. “Thank you for the best 5 years of my life. ????.”
Kira also posted an evolution of her wearing her suit over the years. We’re not crying, you’re crying.
“For the last time ??,” Jack said about his own commemorative new supersuit selfie.
Addison took the throwback route with a photo taken her first day on set. “#fbf to the filming of our original pilot, almost 5 years ago. What an amazing experience and incredible journey this has been with my Thunderfam,” she wrote.
“Even though today is the last day of filming for the Thundermans, we have plenty of new episodes that will continue to air throughout 2018,” Addison added. “Thank you to all of our amazing fans for the love and support! ~ Nora Thunderman ??.”
She’s so right: we’re so glad we have many more months of Thundermans fun ahead!
