Transformation Tuesday: Lucy Hale

Did you know the PLL star was on shows like Drake & Josh and CSI?!

We LOVE Lucy Hale, just like you do. Her character Aria might be our fave on Pretty Little Liars, we’re still listening to her 2011 album, and we’re always trying to steal her style. PLL first aired in 2010, but did you guys know about all of the other movies Lucy has been in and shows she’s guest starred on? With PLL coming to an end, we wanted to look back at the AMAZING career Lucy Hale has had leading up to this point and we know that whatever she does after the show ends will be equally as amazing.

We’re about to show you one of the most epic transformations in young Hollywood!

Lucy’s first TV role was when she guest starred on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide in 2005. Here’s the clip:

Then in 2006, she was on Drake & Josh! Watch:

Also in 2006, she had a small role on The O.C! Check it out:

Then she scored a recurring role on “Bionic Woman” as Becca Sommers!

Lucy first appeared on Disney Channel alongside David Henrie and Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place in 2007. See the clip:

Then she hit the big screen with Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, and Blake Lively to play Effie in “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” – so cool!

In 2008, “Privileged” aired on The CW where Lucy starred as Rose Baker, a spoiled rich kid who didn’t care a whole lot about her schoolwork. Unfortunately the show got canceled in 2009, but Lucy went on to land many more roles after.

See the pilot episode:

After a few guest spots on shows like CSI: Miami, Private Practice, and Ruby & the Rockits (which you might remember as Alexa Vega’s show), Lucy landed Pretty Little Liars in 2010!

Remember the first scene in the pilot?

Even though the show is still on, Lucy hasn’t stopped branching out and trying other roles. Here she is alongside Shenae Grimes in “Scream 2” in 2011.

In 2011, Lucy was in one of our favorite roles we’ve ever seen in. She scored the lead in “A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song” where she got to show the world her voice and that she can carry a movie. See the musical scenes from the movie:

Even during the craziness of PLL, Lucy managed to release a full length country album in 2014. See the single’s music video:

We also love this track, “Nervous Girls”

Lucy did her first ever late night talk show in 2015 on Late Night With Seth Meyers where she killed it and got to talk all things PLL!

Then she went on to do The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon a year later!

Now Lucy is embarking on new acting roles, hopefully more new music, and we know that she’s going to kill it in whatever she does. We’ll miss you on our TV screens every week Lucy, but we can’t wait to see what you do next!
