Jack Johnson’ Poignant Tribute to Emma Royko

“I wasn’t lying when I told you that you inspired me more than I could EVER inspire you”

Anyone who’s ever been to a Jack and Jack meet and greet, or even follows them on social media, knows how much Johnson and Gilinsky love their fans. Jack Johnson always spends extra time with very special fans, the ones who are fighting for their health, and often posts about them on social media. 

One of those fans was Emma Royko, who battled mitochondrial disease and MAST cell disease.

No matter what she was going through, she always kept a smile on her face:

Jack first posted about her on his Instagram in June of 2017. “Thank u for coming tonight, I know you aren’t feeling too well, and the fact u drove an hour to come see us means so much to me and G. Just know Jack and I are with u every step of the way!”

He posted about her again last week, revealing that now, Emma is in heaven. “Having you as a fan and knowing you was a great pleasure in my life Emma,” he wrote.

“I’ll always be grateful for the love and energy you brought into the room, even with all of the pain and sickness you had to endure. I know you fought with every last ounce of your soul.”

“I wasn’t lying when I told you that you inspired me more than I could EVER inspire you. You’ll always be in our hearts Emma, you were so talented and so so loved. Rest Easy ??”

Beautiful words for a beautiful soul. We know that you’re with the angels now, Emma!
