“The Hate U Give” stars Amandla Stenberg, Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, KJ Apa, Algee Smith, Lamar Johnson, Issa Rae, Sabrina Carpenter, with Common and Anthony Mackie. It is directed by George Tillman, Jr. and is based on the novel by Angie Thomas. It’ll be released in theaters on October 19, 2018.
