Dara Renee Explains The Important Message Behind Her New Original Song

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star Dara Renee released a powerful original song earlier this month. The track is called “Evolution” and was written and co-produced by Dara. The Disney+ star has always been an inspiring voice for fans, whether she’s talking about standing up to bullies or reflecting on the heavy times our world has seen over the last few months. Now, she’s putting her words into original music.

“I wrote this song as a tribute to all of the black men and women who inspire me daily. During these times I have been gaining knowledge on the true magic of my culture,” Dara writes in her caption alongside the song’s music video.

Dara is appreciative of her fans’ constant support and never misses a chance to thank them. “Also thank you to everyone who sent me such kind and beautiful messages, y’all have been giving me the courage to keep writing and I appreciate that.”

She also wants to encourage fans to try learning the dance! She writes, “Also if any of y’all are down to learn the dance✨ send it to me and I would LOVE to post it!!!! LOVE YALL!!!”
